Three MMU Students Selected to Maybank Go Ahead Challenge, National Level
On 4th July 2017, three MMU students were selected as the Best Candidates in the Maybank Go Ahead Challenge (MGAC) at MMU Cyberjaya. The programme was organised in collaboration Student Affairs Division (STAD) and Faculty of Management (FOM). It was officiated by Ms Nora Abd Manaf, the Chief Human Capital Officer, Maybank Group and also present Prof Murali Raman, the Dean of FOM.
The students, Ahmad Afiq Mohd Murad (BBA (Hons) Management), Adrian Tung Zi Feng (Bachelor of Finance) and Muhammad Imad Aqil Bin Mohd Arif ( Bachelor of Computer Science) emerged as the best in the competition which was participated by 79 students from other higher learning institutions.
With the success, the three MMU students were eligible to compete in the upcoming MGAC 2017's Nationals Level held at Menara Maybank Kuala Lumpur, in August 2017.
MGAC is a multi-tiered competition, which began with the Campus Levels and later moved to the National Levels, identified the top 60 candidates of close to 40,000 of those who applied from all around the world, Spanning over 5 months, MGAC 2017 involves the Campus, National Level and Global Levels. The Campus Level this year extended to 25 Campus Levels in 9 countries including United Kingdom, Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. 41 Global Finalist were short listed from Campus Levels held outside Malaysia, whilst 19 Global Finalist were shortlisted from the Malaysian National Level from 1 until 10 August 2017.
