Two Films by FCA Lecturers Screened at The 11th Balinale International Films Festival

Two films “Hush” and “Women at Home” which was directed by FCA lectures were screened at The 11th Balinale International Films Festival from 24 until 30 September 2017. The film festival is one of the prestigious occasion for the international filmmakers to attend or present their work to a discerning audience from across the globe since 2007.

It presented an amazing selection of 108 films from 42 countries with 8 World, 6 International and 29 Asian Premieres categories at Official Venue Partner Cinemaxx Theater, Lippo Mall Kuta, Bali.

The films, ‘Hush’ by Kan Lume, tells the story of an aspiring singer from Bali who travels to Jakarta to find success where she encountered the trappings of success. Meanwhile, ‘Women at Home’ by Megan Wonowidjoyo tells a story of a home-baker devotes her life to taking care of her husband and children until one day, everything is changed. The ‘Women at Home’ is also screened at 19th Seoul International Women’s Film Festival 2017 Short Film Competition, 23rd Brisbane International Film Festival 2017, Eurasia International Film Festival 2017, Women in Film & Photography Programme at Singapore Objective 2017.
