MMU Loses One of its Alumni - Our Deepest and Heartfelt Condolences

We deeply sadden by the loss of MMU Alumnus in an accident at KM445.8 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) on 20 February 2018.

Sheikh Kharleez Bamadhaj Jaffar was an MMU Alumni from Faculty of Business, MMU, Melaka. His education at MMU started with Foundation in Business in 2010. After the completion of his foundation studies, he pursued his degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) (International Business) and graduated with flying colours in academic as well as co-curriculum.

The late Kharleez, who worked as a consultant, was an outdoor sports enthusiast. He often took part in cycling events and marathons, as well as mountain-hikings in the country and Indonesia. From 25 October until 31 December 2014, he cycled solo for 4,593 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur to Kunming, China to raise charity for the Cleft Lip and Palate Association of Malaysia (CLAPAM).

Centre for Alumni would like to extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Kharleez’s family and may our prayers ease the pain of his loss during this time of bereavement.
