The Labour & Weight: A Travelling Exhibition was successfully held at e-Gallery, FCM from 12 January 2023 until 28 February 2023. It is truly an honour to have contemporary Malaysian artists showcasing their incredible artwork, infused with valuable heritage-specific research and astonishing craftsmanship. The participating artists that showcase their artwork include Lee Mok Yee, a visual artist from Malaysia, Chew Win Chen also known as Okui Lala which is Permata Dunia from FCM graduated in 2013, Yeo Lyle, a theatre director and actor, and Koe Cheng Gaik, an art administrator and cultural worker. They collaborated with a boatbuilder Hor Lai and net maker Man Nian, adding an exceptional touch to the exhibition.
