In the latest edition of Alumni Vibes: Up, Close and Personal, the spotlight shines on Mr. Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, a graduate of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) in 2004. Mr.Norman bestowed his Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) in Software Engineering from Multimedia University (MMU).
Currently serving as the Group CEO of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd since 23 November 2023, Norman’s journey to leadership has been marked by diverse experiences and a strong educational foundation. His career trajectory began as an auditor at KPMG, later transitioning to various pivotal roles in both local and multinational oil & gas companies and government agencies.
With degrees in Accounting from the University of Queensland, Australia, and Software Engineering from MMU, Norman brings a unique blend of expertise to his role. His deep interest in technology and innovation stems from his educational background and professional experiences, fueling his passion to elevate Malaysian tech companies on the global stage.
Norman’s vision and dedication to driving technological advancement in Malaysia make him a noteworthy figure in the alumni community. His story serves as an inspiration for aspiring leaders and underscores the potential for local tech companies to thrive in a competitive global landscape.
