The Faculty of Management welcomed distinguished alumnus Mr. Megat Kamil Azman bin Megat Ahmad Zaki, Director and Co-Founder of SIXMA Group, for an Industry Alumni Sharing Session on 5 August 2025. Held as part of the Week of Immersion and Networking (WIN), the event aimed to inspire and orient new students of the July / August 2025 trimester.
Addressing over 150 students, Mr. Megat Kamil shared his entrepreneurial journey from studying Accounting at MMU (Class of 2004) to co-founding SIXMA Group, now a recognised name in takaful and wealth management. He emphasised the importance of resilience, adaptability, and building strong networks, while encouraging students to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success.
The session was graced by Dr. Abby Ashraff Saprudin (Deputy Dean, Student Experience & Alumni), Dr. Sin Yew Keong (Deputy Director, ACED), Mr. Muhammad Hazim bin Zulkepli (Assistant Manager, EDC), and representatives from the Cyberjaya Accounting Club (CAC), reflecting MMU’s strong alumni-industry ties.
