Mr. Muhammad Usamah Zaid Yasin, Chief Executive Officer of Wau Animation, and our distinguished Permata Dunia as well as Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) at MMU, was conferred with the Maulidur Rasul Award under the Creative and Innovator Category during the national-level celebration on 5 September 2025.
The ceremony, held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), saw Mr. Usamah receiving the prestigious award from Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, in the presence of the Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
This recognition highlights his remarkable contributions to the creative industry, particularly through his work in producing meaningful and value-driven content such as the acclaimed animation Ejen Ali.
