We were proud to witness the inspiring contributions of two Permata Dunia MMU during the Konvensyen Dakwah Antarabangsa Melestari Insani (K-DAMAI) 2025, held at the Multipurpose Hall, MMU Cyberjaya on 23 September 2025.
Mr. Usamah Zaid Yasin, the visionary behind the hit animation Ejen Ali and CEO of Wau Animation Sdn. Bhd., took the stage during the Inspirational Sharing Session to speak on the power of edutainment. He emphasized that impactful storytelling begins with understanding the audience, using creativity to educate, inspire and drive meaningful change. We also proudly recognize his recent national accolade as Tokoh Pengkarya/Inovator Kreatif at the Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1447H/2025, a testament to his excellence and innovation in the creative industry.
Also taking the spotlight was Pn. Nur Ainina, producer of the beloved Omar & Hana series and current lecturer at the Desain Academy of Arts. She shared how technology, especially AI, can be harnessed to develop educational content that reflects everyday life and instills positive values. Speaking from her perspective as both a creative and a mother, she offered a heartfelt vision of using digital tools to nurture strong, value-driven communities.
These remarkable alumni embody the spirit of Permata Dunia MMU, individuals who use their talents not just to succeed but to uplift, educate and make a global impact.
