A valuable Permata Dunia sharing session was successfully held on 6 May 2025 under the Permata Dunia Returns series. The event was organised by Faculty of Science & Technology (FIST) in collaboration with the Centre for Alumni and MMU Career Connect.
Izah Nursabrina Aznishah, a proud Permata Dunia FIST 2021 graduate and current Head of Project Delivery at AMK Technology Sdn Bhd, conducted the session, which was held at the FIST Smart Lab. With the theme “The Importance of Tailoring Your Resume for Each Job Application,” the event gave students insightful tips and techniques on how to make their resumes more employable.
Throughout the workshop, the speaker discussed her career path and provided helpful advice on how to draw in companies with a well-crafted CV. Through an engaging Q&A session, students were able to learn about current job market trends and industry expectations. While providing current students with pertinent professional development skills, the initiative sought to improve ties with alumni.
It also emphasised how crucial it is to use alumni experiences to motivate and mentor the upcoming class of graduates. The event demonstrated the university’s continuous dedication to career readiness and student empowerment programs, producing well-rounded graduates prepared to meet industry standards.
