The Centre for Alumni in collaboration with the Alumni Society of MMU with the help of several other concerned alumni have managed to organise a crowdfunding campaign for Ms. Buvaneswary to help her raise funds for her medical expenses and costs of follow up treatments. Ms. Buvaneswary is a Permata Dunia of Faculty of Law, graduated with Bachelor of Law (Honours), Class of 2017.

Overwhelming support from all walks of life regardless of age, race and religion had poured in non-stop since keyboard warriors who are supporters and good friends of Ms. Buvaneswary shared her photos and posters through various social media platforms. It was a truly remarkable experience to see Permata Dunia solidarity for this.

Ms. Buvaneswary now has nothing to worry about except focusing on her speedy recovery.  She is blessed to have good friends and fellow Permata Dunia who are fighting for her well beings as well as MMU, her alma mater, who will be her pillar of support whenever the need arises. The Centre for Alumni wishes her speedy recovery and hope that she will resume her normal life soon.
