Imadur Rahman, from Bangladesh, completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Telecommunications from the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University in the year 2001. Securing a Nokia scholarship, Imadur completed his Master’s degree in Radio Communications in 2003 at Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. With another scholarship award by Samsung, he graduated with a Ph.D. in Wireless Communication at Aalborg University, Denmark in 2007.
After a short stint at Aalborg University as an Assistant Research Professor and external researcher in Nokia Siemens Networks, he joined Ericsson Research in 2008. He is currently a Senior Researcher in Radio Access Technology at Ericsson Research in Stockholm, Sweden. He is part of the concept development team who is working towards 5G wireless system concepts.
