Southern Alumni Chapter

On 16 July 2022, Centre for Alumni held a Southern Alumni Chapter Hi-Tea gathering at DoubleTree Hilton Melaka. Approximately 60 Permata Dunia from the southern region Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Singapore attended the event. The Hi-Tea was also attended by Prof Dato’ Mazliham, President of Multimedia University and also Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, the Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (VP SEED) as well as the faculty Deans. The event started at 2:00 pm and ended at 4 pm.

Permata Dunia Cheng Zhi Wen was elected as the Chapter Leader while Permata Harith Hazim bin Zulkifli was chosen as the Assistant Chapter Leader. For each state representative, Ms. Sonia Kaur Jaj was selected as the Melaka Representative, Ng Yu Jia as the Johor Representative, Segaran Veeraya as the Negeri Sembilan representative and Yogendren Palanivelu as the Singapore representative. 5 lucky winners of Southern Chapter Lucky Draw, Lim Chot Hun, Joanna Jayaprakash, Chua Jy Shek, Ng Yu Jia and Hiswadi Anuar, managed to bring back home MMU E-Bee dolls. Permata Dunia Ahmad Bukhari Mohd Yunus brought back home the grand prize which was a two-days-one-night stay at Sunshine Klebang Condominium. Before the end of the event, we had a group photo session together with all the alumni and staff. The Centre thanks all participants in the gathering. Stay tuned for the upcoming Chapter gathering!
