In another episode of Permata Dunia Returns, an alumnus from the Faculty of Management (FOM) returned to his alma mater for an inspiring session with students on 18 June 2025 at the Cyberjaya campus.
Mr. Aliff Syahmi, Lead Talent Partner at UEM Edgenta, engaged the audience with powerful insights into the evolving talent landscape, including the impact of emerging technologies such as AI on HR processes, the importance of real-world industry exposure, and the mindset shifts required to thrive in today’s challenging workplace.
Bringing with him over a decade of experience in Human Resource leadership, he shared a heartfelt message of encouragement: “Never stop being brave. Wherever you are, take the opportunity and grow.” Organised by the Centre for Alumni, the session served as a meaningful platform for alumni to return, share their journeys, and inspire the next generation of successful Permata Dunia.
