On 21 August 2025, MMU Melaka was proud to host two impactful alumni sharing sessions featuring our very own Permata Dunia from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). The back-to-back talks offered students a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights from seasoned industry professionals.
The day began with Ir. Dr. Lim Chot Hun (FET Class of 2003), CEO of BPE Synergy Engineering Sdn. Bhd., who presented on “The Semiconductor Industry and the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)”. His session shed light on the critical role of ATE in the semiconductor industry and the vast career potential in this fast-growing sector.
This was followed by Tc. Mohamad Nor Zikree bin Mohamad Yusof (FET Class of 2005), Project Delivery Engineer (Network Development) at TM Technology Services Sdn. Bhd., who delivered a session titled “Current Trends in Fibre To The Home (FTTH) Broadband Technology”. He shared valuable updates on broadband advancements and their impact on national connectivity.
Both sessions were iCadet certified and served as powerful examples of how MMU alumni continue to contribute meaningfully to the tech and engineering landscape.
